This riff came into being and it just repeated over and over again and we just played it slightly different for chorus/verse (open/muffled) and Forrest added some octave flavor to it. We came up with the idea to write a song about Oxnard/Ventura scene (yes another one) and then thought "if this is going to be about our scene then we should have our scene people sing it. Keep in mind that we started this project in 2014 so...there were still 2 trees at that time (though the new ones are growing). We are incredibly thankful to all these guys that participated in this.
