Forrest and Joe wrote this song sometime in 1993 when both of them were in separate bands and actually they wrote 3 songs at this time. The first of which split into two songs which became the Clenched Fist song 'Reflections' and the Burning Dog song 'The Sky'. The second was called Caught of Guard which became the Ill Repute song 'Inside' and Forrest later used the song name as a band name. The third song was just called Old/New for years until in Out of Trust, Forrest finally put words to it.
